1. Who we are
Aquentis Enviro ("we", "us", "our") is an environmental consultancy based in Sweden, providing PFAS remediation, contaminated-site, analytical-interpretation, and industrial-wastewater advisory services. For any privacy matter, we are the data controller and can be reached at info@aquentisenviroconsultancy.com.
2. What data we collect
We only collect what we need to respond to you and deliver our services:
- Contact details you provide — such as your name, email address, organisation, and the content of any message you send us by email or through the website assistant.
- Website assistant input — the questions you type into our on-site chat assistant, which are processed to generate a response. Please do not enter confidential site data or personal details you would not want processed.
- Technical data — basic, non-identifying information your browser sends (for example, approximate request origin and timing), used by our hosting provider for security and to keep the service running.
We do not knowingly collect special-category data, and we do not use the website to build advertising profiles.
3. How we use your data
- To respond to enquiries and provide the consultancy services you request.
- To operate, secure, and improve the website and its assistant feature.
- To meet legal, accounting, and record-keeping obligations.
4. Legal bases (GDPR Article 6)
- Consent — when you choose to contact us or use the website assistant.
- Legitimate interests — to run and protect the website and respond to relevant business enquiries, balanced against your rights.
- Contract — where processing is necessary to provide services you have engaged us for.
- Legal obligation — where retention or disclosure is required by law.
5. Sharing and processors
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers that help us operate, under appropriate safeguards:
- Our website hosting and serverless-function provider, which processes requests to run the site and its assistant.
- An AI language-model provider, only if the assistant is operating in AI mode, to generate responses to the questions you submit.
Where data is transferred outside the EU/EEA, we rely on recognised transfer mechanisms such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
6. Retention
We keep enquiry correspondence only as long as needed to deal with your request and to meet legal obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymised. Assistant conversations are not used to build a persistent profile of you.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. To exercise any of these, email info@aquentisenviroconsultancy.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten, IMY).
8. Cookies
The website aims to run without non-essential tracking cookies. If any analytics or cookies are introduced in future, this policy will be updated and, where required, consent will be requested.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects the current version.
